My Country/တုိ႔တုိင္းၿပည္

While I’m browsing internet reading some blogs by Burmese bloggers, a stream of thoughts hopped into my head. We, young students, broke through the barriers posted by the junta government for our future education and better lives even if the challenges and interests are at stake. We manage to lead our own lives proudly while keeping abreast with other nationalities in the world. If our country were freed from the shadow of military dictatorship, it will not feel ashamed for its lost dignity like today.

It doesn’t make sense at all! It’s ridiculous! It’s absurd! It’s an abysmal situation! I feel so sorry for those scholars who don’t have a single chance to apply their knowledge for the better of their lives and for their country.

May the misleading junta administration be exempted from ignorance and greed and sleep safe and sound….
May our country, Burma, prosper and retain the long-lost honor of the peacock…
With those wishes in my heart, I have to make sure if my feet are firm on the spot where I am standing now…
